patriciaMs Patricia Rinwigati Waagstein / Team Leader

Dr. Patricia Rinwigati Waagstein, SH, MIL is a practicing attorney, consultant, and academic who has worked in East Timor, USA, EU, and ASEAN countries for over fifteen years. She has extensive experience and expertise in human rights, business and human rights issues, and international law.

She holds a bachelor degree in law from University of Indonesia (1996), a Master’s Degree in Public International Law from Lund University, Sweden (1999) and a Doctoral Degree in Public International Law from Uppsala University, Sweden (2009). Her dissertation is on the human rights obligation for companies which has been published by Uppsala University. She is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia and the team leader for Regional EU-ASEAN Dialogue Instrument Human Rights Facility (READI HRF).


ireneMs Irene SITUMORANG / Project Assistant

As the Project Assistant of Regional EU-ASEAN Dialogue Instrument Human Rights Facility (READI HRF), Ms Irene Situmorang provides continuous support for the dialogue facility. She reports to the READI HRF Team Leader, who is also based at the ASEAN Secretariat, and handles financial administration for the Project Manager based in Brussels, Belgium. 

She organizes events, workshops, meetings held by READI HRF both in ASEAN and EU regions, in terms of logistics, all organizational arrangements and financial reporting. She also coordinates with the various stakeholders in order to implement the activities effectively. Ms Irene Situmorang, an Indonesian national, has more than 7 years' experience in the area of secretarial, administrative and project management.

She graduated from the Tarakanita School of Communication and Secretary (STIKS Tarakanita) Jakarta. At the moment, she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communication at Prof. Dr. Moestopo Beragama University, Jakarta.
